Apple in an event yesterday launched the highly anticipated iPad Pro 12.9 (2018). The tablet was launched alongside the new MacBook Air and Mac Mini in NewYork city. The new generation of iPad comes in two size variants, an 11-inch model and the 12.9-inch model. Here is everything the later iPad Pro (2018) has to offer for a starting price of $999.

The Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) packs a 12.9 inches display with 2048 x 2732 pixels resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. The new iPad is all about the bezels or the lack their of. The iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) has a slim bezel surrounding the display. It almost looks like Apple got the iPad on a treadmill and shed half of its bezels.
Under the hood, the iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) packs an octa-core Apple A12X Bionic processor. The SOC is backed by 4/6GB of RAM and 64/256/512 GB or 1TB of internal storage. Encasing all these horsepowers is a metallic body which gives the tablet a premium touch. The chassis also acts as a magnetic dock for the new Apple Pencil. It now charges the stylus wirelessly!
In the camera department, the iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) packs a f/1.8 12MP rear shooter. The tablet also comes with a f/2.2 7MP front camera for those Facetime calls and the occasional selfies. Moving on, at the software front, the new iPad runs the latest version of IOS i.e, IOS 12.
Other features of the tablet include 4 stereo speakers and Face ID. And finally powering the iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) is a 36.71 Wh Non-removable Li-Po battery. The new iPad, weirdly enough, makes a jump over to the USB Type-C port. Apple ditches its proprietary port, the Lighting port, in favor of the universal standard the USB Type-C port. Speaking of ditching, the headphone jack is nowhere to be found on the new iPad Pro.
