Colors Mobile Nepal, after weeks of rumors and teasing, has finally launched their latest budget smartphone, the Colors S9. The Nepalese smartphone manufacturer is on a roll these days with the launch of phones like the S1, S11 and now the S9. Like the name suggests, the S9 falls between the two smartphones both in terms of specs and price. So what does it offer for a price of Rs 11,995? Well, let’s take a deeper look at the phone and find it out for ourselves.

The Colors S9 packs a 5.2inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 282PPI. The display comes edged out by a 2.5D glass giving users a seamless experience. Encasing the internals of the phone is a metallic shell which not only looks good but also feels premium in the hands.

Under the S9, the phone packs a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with the Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. The processor is backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 128GB. The phone also supports dual-sim cards and is 4G capable.

In the camera department, the Colors S9 packs an 8MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. The front camera too comes with an LED flash accompanying a 5MP sensor. And just sitting below the rear camera is an active fingerprint scanner. Moving on, at the software front, the phone runs an almost stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 2400mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the 720p display will be enough to get users through a day of heavy usage on a single charge.
