Teletalk Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Colors mobile in Nepal, is gearing up to launch yet another budget smartphone- the Colors S9. The S9 is the second smartphone to be launched from the S line-up of smartphones from Colors. With a rumored price of around Rs 12,000 and a launch date of next week, here is everything the phone brings to the table.
The Colors S9 packs a 5.2inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 282PPI. The display comes edged out by a 2.5D glass giving users a seamless experience. Encasing all the internals is a metallic shell which not only looks good but also feels premium in the hands. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core processor backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 128GB. The phone also supports dual-sim cards and is 4G capable.
In the camera department, the Colors S9 packs an 8MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. The front camera too comes with an LED flash accompanying a 5MP sensor. This will be useful to take those precious selfies even under less than optimal lighting conditions. And just sitting below the rear camera is an active fingerprint scanner. Moving on to the software side of things, the phone runs an almost stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 2400mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the 720p display will be enough to get users through a day of heavy usage on a single charge.
The Colors S9 looks to be a great budget smartphone with a premium build, a smooth software experience, and a heavy focus on cameras. The phone is rumored to launch next week right in time for the New Year. Nothing is confirmed yet so make sure to keep tuned in to Phones In Nepal for all the update on the Colors S9.
