Coolpad Cool Play 6 launched in Nepal

Jaima Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Coolpad smartphones in Nepal, has launched their latest mid-tier smartphone- the Coolpad Cool Play 6. The phone is the follow up to their last year’s mid-tier smartphone, the Coolpad Cool1 Dual. Being a successor here is everything the phone has to offer for a, now, price tag of Rs 31,996.

Coolpad Cool Play 6 launched in NepalThe Coolpad Cool Play 6 packs a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 401PPI. The display is edged out by a 2.5D glass giving users a seamless experience. Encasing the internals of the phone is a metallic shell which not only looks good but also feels quite premium in the hands. Under the hood, the Play 6 packs an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon 653 processor along with the Adreno 510 GPU. The processor is backed by a whopping 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone, just like its predecessor, still can’t be expanded via a micro-sd card. A bummer! The phone, nonetheless, supports dual sim cards and is 4G capable.

In the camera department, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 packs a dual camera set up made by two f/2.0 13MP sensors. The phone also has a f/2.2 8MP front camera for all your social media ready selfies. And just sitting below the rear camera is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. Moving on, at the software front, the Play 6 runs Journey UI based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 4060mAh non-user removable battery. This will be more than enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge without any issues.

Last year, we loved what the Coolpad Cool1 Dual had to offer. It was one of our top recommended smartphones under Rs 35,000 in Nepal. And this year, the Play 6 looks to live up to its legacy by building on what its predecessor had to offer. The phone is a worthy mid-tier smartphone and we can’t wait to get our hands on the device. And when we do we will make sure to share our views, ideas, and a verdict on the phone. For those and more on the Coolpad Cool Play 6, like our Facebook page and subscribe to our Youtube channel.
