Coolpad NX1 launched in Nepal

Jaima Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Coolpad smartphones in Nepal has recently launched their latest budget smartphone the Coolpad NX1. Priced at Rs 10,226, Coolpad offers a substantial device for a more wallet-friendly price. That said, let us take a closer look at what the phone has to offer at this price range.

The Coolpad NX1 packs a 5 inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294PPI. The phone features a slim-arc unibody design for a great user experience. Under the hood, the NX1 packs a 1.3Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor along with the Mali T720 GPU. The processor is backed by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The inbuilt memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 64 GB. The phone also is 4G compatible and supports dual sim cards.

In the camera department, the phone packs an 8MP rear camera accompanied by a LED flash. The phone also has a 2MP front camera, which is kind of a letdown in this day and age. Software-wise, the phone runs a custom skin over Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Sadly, the phone doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner which we would have loved to see at this price point. And finally powering this device all up is a decent sized 2000mAh battery. This coupled with the 720p display will be enough to get users through a full day of moderate to heavy usage without any problems.

The Coolpad NX1 is a great smartphone if you are looking to buy one under Rs 12,000 here in Nepal. The phone offers a lot for the price including a great design, decent internals, and an HD display. The phone bridges the gap between having to spend a lot of money and getting a good smartphone. You guys should definitely check this phone out!
