The phone since then has ameliorated! Of course, there is the price drop, but besides that, it has also received a software update. The phone, now, runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. This update just builds on the greatness of the Nova 2i! Adding to that are the new features like the Face Unlock, A.R lens, and the Karaoke Mode. The phone also brings, much needed, improvements to the camera department. It fixes one of the main issues that I had with the phone i.e, the Bokeh Mode.
And with that, the cameras on the Nova 2i have become near perfect for a mid-tier smartphone. The quad-camera setup combining a 16+2MP in the rear and a 13+2MP at the front are just phenomenal. Images from the shooters look amazing with great details and vibrancy. And with the bokeh problem solved, there is no stopping the phone!
Huawei Nova 2i, without a doubt, is one of the most feature-packed smartphones in the market right now. The quad-camera set up is the most defining features of the device.
