Huawei Nova 3: What to expect?

The Huawei Nova 3 is expected to pack a similar notch design to its cousin, the Nova 3e. The glass on glass design also remains the same, which is a good thing. It will have the same premium touch we have come to love about the Nova 3e. One major change is rumored to be coming to the processor of the phone! The Nova 3 will pack an in-house Kirin 970, which is mind-blowing. If you are unaware, the same SoC is used in flagship Huawei smartphones, like the P20 Pro.

This is a much-needed change as the Nova series was due for an upgraded chipset. Kudos to Huawei for listening to their customers! It definitely will give the phone a performance boost as well as the ability to adapt to new features. The new GPU turbo or some cool AI feature maybe?

Something still not clear is the cameras or to be more precise, the number of cameras. Will it go the Nova 2i route and packs a 4 camera set up? Or will it go the Nova 3e trail and sport a rear dual-camera with a single selfie shooter? Well, this is something still to be made clear off. Although a last-minute leak suggests a 24MP rear camera accompanied by a secondary 16MP sensor. That said, the affair of the selfie camera is still not clear!

Another area of the phone worth talking about is the battery. The Nova 3 is expected to pack a 3,750mAh non-user removable battery. It is a fairly sized battery that will be able to keep the phone running all day. This is good and all, but will the phone pack the amazing Super Charge feature we saw with the P20 Pro? Or will it opt out for a normal fast charging power brick? Well, there is no way of being certain until Huawei officially launches the phone. But if I had to make a prediction, I would guess the phone to pack this amazing feature. This has largely to do with the fact that the phone posses the Kirin 970 SoC. No doubt it will be able to handle the voltage. Although, I would take this news with a grain of salt!
