Huawei Nepal has finally launched the latest Huawei Nova 5T in Nepal, and it’s great. The phone packs a big screen, RAM, four cameras at the back and the latest flagship processor from Huawei. Huawei Nova 5T has come in a time when the latest flagships from big brands like Apple, Samsung, and even Huawei’s very own flagship phones cost upwards of Rs 1 Lakh in Nepal. So, the new Nova 5T shares the mid-range flagship market at prices close to 50k alongside the likes of Redmi K20 Pro and OnePlus phones.
Huawei Nova 5T Key Features
Let’s start with the brains of this phone first. Recently, the design, cameras and other features of low-budget phones are getting neck-in-neck with flagship phones. But, they always fall behind in terms of hardware performance. Huawei Nova 5T delivers the flagship-grade performance with the latest Kirin 980 processor. The chipset is a powerhouse in terms of delivering a smooth and quick response for heavy usages like gaming and multi-tasking. The processor is paired with an 8GB RAM that is plenty of space for switching apps around.
The design on this phone is also different from the now-common teardrop notch display design. It now packs a hole-punch display that resembles the new S10 phones from Samsung, though the hole-punch is placed at the left of the screen instead of the right side. Huawei Nova 5T also has a 6.26-inch IPS panel with a Full-HD resolution display. The back of the phone has different gradient designs with a lens flare look coming out from the LED flash. 
Nova 5T has a quad-camera setup at the back that’s aligned vertically. The camera system includes a 48MP main camera, a 16 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera that sits snug on the notch.
Huawei has packed tons of features in this phone including the usual face-unlock and fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is now at the side, which is one of the ways Huawei could chip away a few bucks of this mid-range flagship phone. Huawei Nova 5T battery is a 3750 mAh unit that supports 22.5W fast charging.
