In the camera department, the Huawei Y9 2018 packs a quad-camera setup with a pair on each side. At the rear, the device boasts a 16MP+2MP combo with a LED flash holding it all up. The Y9 also has a 13MP+2MP duo at the front for all your social media ready selfies. And sitting just below the rear camera is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. Moving on, at the software front, the Y9 2018 runs EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. And finally powering the device all up is a beefy 4000mAh non-user removable battery. What we think

The Huawei Y9 2018, at least on paper, looks to be a great mid-tier smartphone that has a lot to offer. The phone takes a lot of cues from its cousin, the Nova 2i which is a good thing. I love the fact that the phone offers a quad-camera setup, an 18:9 near bezel-less design and a ton of unique and cool features like face unlock, AR selfies all for a price of Rs 25,900. There is no doubt that the Huawei Y9 2018 is the phone to beat right now in the mid-tier category!
