The iPhone 12 Mini packs a 5.4 inches display (1080 x 2340 pixels) Super Retina XDR OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It has been quite some time since we have seen a premium phone at this price range. It is definitely refreshing to have that option! Under the hood, the 12 Mini packs the Hexa-core Apple A14 Bionic chipset backed by the Apple GPU. It also houses 4GB of RAM with 64/128/256GB of internal storage.
In the camera department, the phone flaunts a dual rear-camera set up made by an f/1.6 12MP wide and f/2.4 12MP ultra-wide sensor. Unfortunately, the phone doesn’t have the telephoto or the lidar sensor that its pro-level brothers pack. That said, I would take the combination of wide and ultra-wide any day of the week. Software-wise, the 12 Mini packs the latest version of iOS, iOS 14.2 out of the box. Love it or hate it, the inclusion of the software makes an iPhone an iPhone. Some of the other features that the phone offers are Face ID, Dolby Vision, and IP68 Dust & Water Resistance.
And finally, powering the device all up is a 2227mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the power-efficient chipset and software should provide an all-day battery life. And even if the battery does run out, the phone offers 20W Fast charging (50% in 30 minutes) out of the box.
