Both the phones come in three color variants (Black, Gold, and White) with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Here is everything you need to know about the latest smartphones from Apple.
Both the phones have many things in common but they are also very distinct from one another. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus both have an Apple A11 Bionic chipset along with the tri-core Apple GPU. They also run the same software, IOS 11.0.2. Both the phones also come with a fingerprint scanner embedded into their home button. They too include all the sensors like a gyroscope, accelerometer, barometer, and compass. On the flip side, the iPhone 8 has a 4.7 inch HD IPS retina display while the plus model comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS retina display. They also have different cameras with the normal iPhone having a f/1.8 12MP rear camera while the plus sports a rear dual camera set up made by a combination of two 12MP sensors with f/1.8 and f/2.8 aperture. The RAM capacity of the phones is also different with the smaller packing 2GB of RAM while the bigger sibling sports 3GB of RAM.
