Lava R3 Note Spec Discussion

On paper, Lava R3 Note is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with the Power VR graphics. It also contains 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable via a memory card. Talking about the display, the R3 Note packs a big 6.22-inch panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a standard 720p resolution and a notch design.

On the optics side,  it comes with a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture. And for selfies, an 8MP f/2.0 camera at the front. On the software side of things, the camera app will provide different lighting setups for enhancing the experience.

Performance of this phone should be on par with the rest of the competition. We can’t directly compare the advantages of these processors with its competitors due to different SoCs in these phones. The display is average on paper and should meet the expectations of its target customer and budget. As is the case with most of the mid-range phones, Lava Note R3 should perform well in good lighting and suffer in night light.

The build and feel of the phone should be the distinguishing feature for Lava R3 Note. Based on the images, the phone has a glossy back panel and a notch display. The shiny back of the phone is appealing as an aesthetic choice and the notch display clearly follows the entire Android lineup to mimic the unique design set by Apple. The phone will be available with two color options: Illusion blue and Champagne Gold.

The Lava R3 Note doesn’t empty your pocket, sitting at a sub-20k price range and offering a neat design, and display with decent specs. The camera performance and processing power must be taken a look at before buying this phone. That said, this phone should definitely be considered if you are looking to buy a phone within the price bracket of Rs 17,999.
