Lenovo phones in Nepal is a rare sight with very few models available currently in the market. Lenovo hasn’t launched any flagship, expensive phones in Nepal yet. The company, however, has recently launched its latest phone, the Lenovo A5s. The phone is a budget option from Lenovo and is currently priced at Rs. 12,499 in Nepal.

Lenovo A5s comes with a Mediatek A22 processor that is more of a low-end chipset from MediaTek. The phone packs a modest 2GB of RAM capacity and 16GB flash storage, expandable via a memory card. Shying away from the notch display trend, it offers a generic display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Talking about the display, the Lenovo A5s packs a 5.72-inch IPS panel with HD+ screen resolution. The device is made of plastic body with a removable back cover. The phone lacks a fingerprint scanner and has a vertical camera design at the back. It has an average overall build for its price and doesn’t pack any visual element to set it apart.

Lenovo A5s Cameras

Although Lenovo A5s has a vertical dual camera-like design, it only packs a 13MP camera with flash that looks like a secondary depth sensor. So, this phone doesn’t offer portrait shots like other pricier phones. The 13MP main sensor still should perform well with its high pixel density though. One major upside to this phone is the 13MP front camera that’s rarely found on devices at this price range. Most other phones offer an 8MP front camera at most, so Lenovo A5s clearly leads in this area.

All this is powered by a 3000mAh battery, that’s easily removable and replaced. Another upside of this phone is that it comes with the latest Android 9.0 software which hasn’t made its way to many other phones yet. So, it’s safe to say that Lenovo A5s is one of the few updated phones on the software side. It clearly has some perks and features not offered by other phones for the price. However, the phone’s build and design don’t exactly set it apart from the crowd of phones in the market. Let us know if you would like to see a detailed review of the phone in the future.
