Motorola has launched a new inexpensive mid-range smartphone that features an impressive camera and battery. The new Moto G9 continues the Motorola saga of Android phones with a clean UI and design. The Moto G9 price along with its specifications and features closely matches a good mid-range smartphone minus the performance.

The phone has a curved back with a thick body build. It features a 6.5-inch notch display with an IPS LCD panel. However, the display only has an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Moto G9 low-res display and plastic body doesn’t win any points here.
Besides the display, Moto G9 performance also suffers from the budget nature. It features a Snapdragon 662 processor with a max clock speed of 2Ghz. So, the device is less optimized for energy efficiency and gaming. It does pack 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage so there is room for multitasking.
The storage can be easily expanded with a microSD card, so the lack of storage is no issue. Following the Motorola trend, Moto G9 also features a stock like Android 10 software with minimal bloatware.
Moto G9 cameras must be its strongest suit, as it features a 48MP triple camera setup. The main camera has a 48MP resolution with an f/1.7 aperture. So, the phone can produce crisp images with high details. There is also the 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor for creating portrait effects. As for the front camera, an 8MP selfie camera is packed inside the display notch.
Another good feature of the Moto G9 is its large 5000mAh battery capacity. It supports 20W fast charging with a Type-C port which complements the long-lasting battery. The phone also includes an almost mandatory rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for easy biometrics.
Moto G9 Price and Where to Buy
Moto G9 price is set at Rs. 11,499 in India. Following the launch in India, we expect Moto G9 in Nepal with an approximate price tag of Rs. 19,000.
