Nokia has officially announced their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Nokia 7.1 Plus. The phone also goes by another name, the Nokia X7. The phone has a lot to offer including a Carl Zeis branded dual-camera setup. It also packs the infamous notch and a wide one at that. Including these, here is everything the phone has to offer for a starting price of $245.
Nokia 7.1 Plus Overview
The Nokia 7.1 Plus packs a 6.18-inch Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) Pure View Display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. And encasing the internals of the phone is a glass-on-glass design sandwiched by a metallic frame. Under the hood, the Nokia 7.1 Plus packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor along with the Adreno 616 GPU. The SoC is backed by 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 400GB.
In the camera department, the Nokia 7.1 Plus packs a Carl-Zeis branded rear dual-camera set up. Among the two, one is an f/.8 12MP and another is an f/2.4 13MP sensor. The phone also packs an f/2.0 24MP front camera for all your selfies. Sitting just below the rear cameras is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel.
Moving on, at the software front, the Nokia 7.1 Plus runs an almost stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. And finally, powering this device all up is a 3500mAh non-user removable battery. This, without a doubt, will be enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge. And if the battery does run out, there is the inclusion of USB Type-C cable and Quick Charge 3.0.
Nokia 7.1 Plus Price in Nepal with specs
The Nokia 7.1 Plus, at least on paper, is a great smartphone that has a lot to offer. The phone packs a premium build, capable SoC, Leica branded dual-cameras and a notched design. Even with all these inclusions, the phone comes in at a price of only $249 (4GB RAM/64GB internal storage). The 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant comes in at $290 while the 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant will cost you $360. Although a bit too early to speculate, the phone will most likely make its way to Nepal.
