iHub Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of OnePlus smartphones in Nepal, is gearing up to launch their latest flagship-the OnePlus 5T. The phone which was launched a couple of weeks ago in the international market is finally making its way to Nepal. The phone, like the trends of today, is packing an almost bezel-less design, and a dual-camera setup. That included, here are all the things the phone brings to the table.
The OnePlus 5T packs a 6.01-inch Full HD AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is covered by Gorilla Glass 5 and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Encasing the phone is a metallic-shell which not only looks good but also feels quite premium in the hands. Under the hood, the phone packs a Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor along with the Adreno 540 GPU. The processor is backed by either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage respectively. The phone also supports dual-sim cards but sadly doesn’t entertain storage expansion via a micro-sd card.
OnePlus, this time around packs a dual-camera set made by a f/1.7 16MP and 20MP sensor accompanied by a dual LED flash on the 5t. The phone also has a f/2.0 16MP front-camera for all your high-res selfies. And sitting just below the rear sensors is an active fingerprint scanner. The phone also has a face unlock feature which works very well. Moving on to the software side, the OnePlus 5T runs Oxygen OS 4.7 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And finally, powering the device all up is a 3300mAh non-user removable battery. Backing the power pack up is the iconic dash charger which provides a faster charging time!
The OnePlus 5T, from the looks of it, is a great smartphone that packs a lot for the price. And speaking of price, the phone is expected to be priced around Rs 60,000 here in Nepal. It also is rumored to be unveiled within 1-2 weeks in the Midnight Black color variant. Nothing is official yet, but the phone will launch sooner than later here.
