Samsung is gearing up to launch their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J8 here in Nepal. The Galaxy J8 is the latest addition to the J series of smartphones that packs an “Infinity Display”. Including this, here is everything the Samsung Galaxy J8 has to offer for an expected price of around Rs 35,000.
Samsung Galaxy J8 Overview
The Samsung Galaxy J8 packs a 6.0-inch HD+ S-AMOLED display with a pixel density of 275PPI. Samsung brands the panel with the term “Infinity Display” due to its minimal bezel and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. And encasing the internals of the phone is a metallic shell which gives it a premium touch.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy J8 packs an octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor along with the Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB.
In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy J8 packs a dual-camera setup made by a f/1.9 16MP and a 5MP sensor. The phone also packs a f/1.9 16MP front camera for all your social media worthy selfies. And just sitting below the rear cameras is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. And finally powering the device all up is a 3500mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the 720p display will be enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge.
Samsung Galaxy J8 Price in Nepal
The Samsung Galaxy J8 price in Nepal is expected to be around Rs 35,000. For the price, the phone has a lot to offer including an Infinity Display, Dual-camera set up, and some decent internals. The phone, however, could have offered a Full HD panel instead of just an HD display. The processor is another area that Samsung should have improvised upon.
