Techno Mobile has launched their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Tecno Camon i here in Nepal. For those of you unaware, Tecno is a Chinese smartphone OEM who recently entered Nepal. The Camon i is the latest addition to their product line up which has a lot to offer including an 18:9 near bezel-less design. Let’s take a deeper look at the phone and see what else the phone brings to the table for an asking price of Rs 18,500.
The Techno Camon i packs a 5.65 inch HD (1440X720) display with an 18:9 near bezel-less design. Encasing the internals of the phone is a polycarbonate body which looks a lot like metal. Under the hood, the Camon i packs a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with the Mali-T720 GPU. The processor is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 128GB.
In the camera department, the Camon i packs a 13MP rear camera accompanied by a quad-LED flash shooter. The phone also has a 13MP front camera, with a single LED flash, for all your social media ready selfie. And just sitting below the rear shooter is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. Moving on, at the software front, the Camon i runs a custom skinned version of Android 7.0 Nougat. And finally, powering this device all up is a 3050mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the 720p display will be enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge.
