Vivo Y51s launched with 48MP camera, Exynos 880 SoC


Vivo Y51s is a new mid-range smartphone that comes with a 48MP camera system. The phone supports 5G networks and even sports a new Exynos processor. Vivo Y51s price and specifications makes it a decent offering even in the Chinese market.

Vivo Y51s Features and Specifications

In terms of design and build, the phone features a hole-punch display along with a premium looking body. The display is a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel and has a FULL HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels.

As for performances, Vivo Y51s sports an Exyno 880 octa-core processor with a max. 2.0GHz clock speed. The phone also offers 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The new Exynos chipset also lets the phone support 5G networks with a max 2.55 Gbps download and 1.28Gpbs upload speeds.


Vivo Y51s camera system consists of a triple camera setup at the back including a 48MP, f/1.8 primary shooter. The other two cameras include a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. As for selfies, there is an 8MP front camera inside the punch-hole display.

Vivo Y51s runs on Android 10 software with Funtouch 10.2 skin on top. It features a finger print scanner at the side of the phone. Vivo Y51s also has a 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Vivo Y51s Price and Availability

The phone is only available for purchase in China right now. Vivo Y51s price is CNY 1,1798 ($255). It is a decent smartphone to say the least, however we already have decent alternatives in Nepal at similar price points.
