Mi Nepal has officially teased their new mid-tier smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, for a Nepal launch. The company took to Facebook to share a “Quad-camera all-rounder” to soon make its way here. With the large 6 on a notched display, it is safe to assume the product to be the Redmi Note 6 Pro. So, what is the new phone all about? What all features does it have to offer? Well, let’s find out the answers to just that!
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Overview
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro packs a 6.26-inch Full HD (1080 x 2280 pixels) IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The notch makes an appearance residing in the top center of the display. And encasing the internals of the device is a metallic body with a brushed-off finish.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro packs an octa-core Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 processor along with the Adreno 509 GPU. The SoC is backed by 3/4/6GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB.
In the camera department, the Redmi Note 6 Pro packs a total of 4 cameras. A pair on either side of the phone! At the back, we have a f/1.9 12MP and a f/2.2 5MP sensors. While the front houses a f/2.0 20MP and a f/2.2 2MP sensors. And sitting below the rear cameras is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel.
Moving on, at the software side of things, the Note 6 Pro runs MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. And finally, powering this device all up is a 4000mAh non-user removable battery. This will be more than enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Price In Nepal is yet to be determined! However, the price of the phone is set at INR 13,999 (roughly Rs. 25,000) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage configuration in India. If the current trend is any indication, the phone will be tagged very closely to the international price. That said, the cost is still based on speculation and I advise our readers to take it with a grain of salt!
